It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ann Baker of Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Edgar Baker; her parents, Benjamin Smith and Josie Cochran Smith; her daughter Lynn Baker; and her siblings, James Benjamin Smith and Jewell Davis.
She is survived by: her sons, James Carl Baker (Lori) and Daniel William Baker (Ashley); her grandson Joseph Timothy Baker (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Ariel, Skyler, Austin, Caroline, Emma, Kassidy and Knox; and her sister Kathey Smith Matthews (Curtis).
Before the challenges of COVID-19, Martha delighted in her time spent at Senior Action, where she made lasting friendships and enjoyed various activities with her fellow seniors.
