She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerd Plankert and Anna Plankert; her husband Robert F. Ridgeway; her son Robert G. Ridgeway; and her brother Hans-Gerd Plankert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Helga Helena Ridgeway and Kathrin Ridgeway Pringle (Sam Jr.); her sister Helga P. Kramer; her grandchildren, Trey Pringle (Camila), Lauren P. Land (Thomas) and Genna P. Stone (Cory); and her great grandchildren, Waylon R. Land, Ellison A. Land and Maximilliano V. Stone.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at 107 Pebble Creek Way, Taylors, SC 29687.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, McCall Hospice House of Greenville, or Greenville Animal Care, honoring Marlene's legacy of generosity and care for her community.
