It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marion Hays McNair of Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert S. Hays and Marion Duncan Hays; and her siblings, Robert Samuel Hays, Jr., Laura Hays Frazier and Julius Duncan Hays.
She is survived by: her husband James A. McNair; her children, Alexander Fairley McNair (Mary John) of Greenville, SC and Jane McNair Marr (Al) of Wilmington, NC; and her grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth McNair, Stewart Marr, Hays Marr and Walter Marr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A power couple both on the golf course and in the kitchen, they were founding members of RSVP supper club in 1966 which continues to this day.
