She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas B. Tolbert and Kathryn Terry Tolbert; her former husband Carlos Lee Owens Sr.; her husband Thomas L. Foster; her siblings, Albert, Thomas Tolbert and Mary Hicks Curd; and her stepson Joel Foster.
She is survived by: her son Carlos L. Owens Jr. (Patti) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Keri Krofta (Ken) of Piedmont, Kelli Raines (Joey) of Greenville, Kathryn Johnson (Derrix) of Greenville, Kristen Talley (Kirk) of Liberty, Dezi Raines of Ware Shoals, Tommy Foster (Dianna) of Mauldin and Beka Craig (Mike) of North Dakota; and her great grandchildren, Catherine, Kaleb, Kayleigh, Isaiah (Kate), Jonathan, Emily, Jackson, Delilah, D. J., Madison, Charlie and Oliver. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
