She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin L. Hamner and Sarah White Hamner; and her brother William T. Hamner (Bill). She is survived by: her husband James William Utley (Jim) of Nashville, Tennessee.; her children, Susan Marie Utley (Nashville) and John Andrew Utley (Greenville); her granddaughter Lauren Elaine Utley (Nashville); her sister-in-law Mary Alice Hamner; and her niece Beverly Hamner Burton.
