She was predeceased by: her parents, William Herbert and Marion Easterling Craven; her husband Clifford Wilson Poteat, Jr.; her daughter Marion Ann Poteat; her grandson Brett Thomas Lang, Jr.; her brother William Herbert Craven, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Lois Kearse Craven.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Poteat Lang (Brett Thomas Lang) and Michael Craven Poteat; her grandchildren, Jonas Brett Lang and Elizabeth Ann Lang of Atlanta; and her brother-in-law Mickey F. Poteat. She is also survived by two nephews; and two nieces.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cooner Funeral Home Chapel (287 Mc Gee St, Bamberg, SC 29003).
