He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Roy and Alice Roy; his wife Cressie Roy; his sons, Lyle D. Roy, Steven Roy and Phillip Roy; and his son-in-law James Stewart.
He is survived by: his children, John Roy (Terry) of Easley, Christopher Roy (Pamela) of Liberty, Nathan Roy (Tanya) of Greenville, Judy Cox (Russ) of Jonesborough, TN and Janet Stewart of White Lake, MI; his daughters-in-law, Annette Roy and Ruth Roy; and his grandson Ryan Stewart. He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
