She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Oliver and Ella Mae Oliver; her husband James Edward Sherman; and her daughter LeAngela Yvonne Whiteside. She is survived by: her children, James Whiteside (Angela) of Greenville, SC and Bridgette Miller (Randy) of Spartanburg, SC.; her sisters, Esther Diane Jackson of Greenville, SC, Maria Oliver Martin (Ricky) of Simpsonville, SC and Mary Oliver Dean (Tony) of Greenville, SC.; her close friend Darlene Williams of Piedmont, SC; her siblings, Jacob Oliver, John Thomas Oliver and Gloria Oliver Makins; her grandchild K'yon Jamil Johnson; her niece Valencia E. Johnson; and her nephew Elliott Oliver. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
