She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertie Boseman Latimer and Matthew Sam Latimer; her stepfather Booker T. Nance; her parents-in-law, Lawrence E. Russell and Sarah Hamilton Russell; and her brothers-in-law, Jimmy, Billy Russell and Clarence Logan.
She is survived by: her husband David Russell, Sr.; her children, Kalisha Russell Barrett of Kennesaw, GA and David Russell, Jr. of Simpsonville, SC; her grandsons, Elias and Amir Barrett of Kennesaw, GA; her siblings, Barbara Latimer Hodges (Grady, Sr.) of Anderson, SC and Melvin Latimer (Loretta) of Belton, SC; and her siblings-in-law, Elaine Logan of Edneyville, NC, Yuriko Ka Russell of Hendersonville, NC and Robbie Russell of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by nephews and nieces, numerous cousins, extended family.
