She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. W. A. Harrison and Dorothy Tyler Harrison; and her husband William L. Brockman. She is survived by: her son William Eric Brockman; her siblings, Ann Burke of Greenville, SC, Edith Spurgeon (Roy) of Mauldin, SC, Ruby Daniels (Patrick) of Powdersville, SC, Rosa Elaine Mattress of Greenville, SC, Linda Jackson of Greenville, SC, Wilton Jr. "Randy" Harrison (Vickie) of Marietta, Rev. W. O. Harrison of Greenville, SC, David Harrison of Mauldin, SC, James Harrison of Fountain Inn, SC, Bryant Harrison (Margaret) of Pelzer, SC, Rev. J. B. Harrison (Anna) of Pelzer, SC, Steve Harrison (Clara) of Pelzer, SC and Stanley Harrison (Loretta) of Easley, SC; her pet Roxanne; and her sister-in-law Melissa Young of Fort Lauderdale, FL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews (well over one hundred), other relatives and friends.

“Eric, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I guess I always thought Lila would live forever. She always took care of herself, always taking her vitamins, and eating lots of veggies. And talking lots of junk, that's what kept her healthy most of all. Your mom left her mark on many people's lives. Mine for sure. She will be missed by many.”
