With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leontine Young Stoudenmire (Greenville, South Carolina), who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Stoudenmire; her parents, Lonnie Young and Annice Poole Young; her son Kenneth Stoudenmire; and her siblings, Muriel Dantzler, Velma Griffin, Jackie Bradham, Billy Young, Broadus Young and Everett Young.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg Stoudenmire and George Stoudenmire (Sandy); her grandchildren, Ashley Stoudenmire, Lindsey Stoudenmire, Courtney Stoudenmire, Brandon Stoudenmire, Justin Stoudenmire, Christopher Benge and Josh Benge; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Harper and Gunner; and her sister Henrietta Howell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Dunean Baptist Church (21 Allen St, Greenville, SC 29605). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dunean Baptist Church, 21 Allen Street, Greenville, SC 29605.
