She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Holliday and Frank Vance, Sr.; her daughters, Patsy Hope Fuller (Billy Fuller) and Carolyn Ann Hill (Spurgeon Cletus Hill); her husband Gene Wyatt Horton; her siblings, Hazel Legate, Ouida Coker and Frank Vance, Jr.; and her niece Janice Durham.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeanne Kaye Horton; her grandchildren, Ferney Brombie Peterson IV (Vicki) and Justin Vance Hill (Kasey); her great grandchildren, Ferney Brombie V, Kalyn Peterson, Austin, Evan, Logan and Ellesandra Hill; her sister-in-law Gwen Vance; and her nieces and nephews, Eleanor McGahee, Karen Stepp, Bruce Legate and Alan Vance (Lori). She is also survived by her daughter, family and friends.
