He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sherman and Josephine Sherman; and his wife Connie Lee Elrod McCarroll. He is survived by: his children, Rodney Robinson of New London, CT, Jerry Cureton of Greenville, SC, Melvin Cureton of Greenville, SC, Joy Cureton of Simpsonville, SC and Melissa Dixon of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
