She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lee Baumgardner and Sarah Putman Baumgardner; and her sister Sally Gayle Baumgardner. She is survived by: her husband Pat Counts; her children, Christopher Lee Counts of Miami, Farrow Counts DuRant (Robert) of Charleston, Claire Stricklin Counts of Asheville and Prentiss Counts Shealey (Brian) of Columbia; her grandchildren, Harriett DuRant, Rees DuRant, Counts DuRant, Cora Shealey, Gray Shealey, Hammett Counts and Harry Counts; and her cousins, Dodge Lewis and Jerry Jones.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to United Ministries at 606 Pendleton Street in Greenville, South Carolina.
