It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Holmes Cooke (Greenville, South Carolina), who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Holmes and Rebbie Neal Cooke; and the mother of his children Eva Webb Cooke. He is survived by: his wife Rose Copeland Cooke; his children, Elizabeth Cooke Corley (Tommy) of Greenville and Edward Holmes Cooke of Greenville; his stepchildren, Jim Heath (Stephanie) of Sumter, Harvin Heath Greene (Tommy) of Atlanta and Lucy Heath Lee (Todd) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Alexandra Cooke Mandell (Stephen) of Illinois, Evalyn Neal Cooke of Charlotte, Mary Copeland Heath Jones (Chris) of Atlanta, Taylor Heath (Jenna) of Columbia, Heath Greene of Columbia, Lula Greene of Atlanta, Reynolds Lee of Mt. Pleasant and Laura Harvin Lee of Mt. Pleasant; and his great grandchildren, Rosemary Grey Mandell and Walker Cooke Mandell of Illinois.
