He is survived by: his wife Ellen "Jean" Skelton Chitwood; his children, Kerri Barbrey (Jamie), Tresa Bradley and Rick Bradley (Cindy); his brother Donnie Chitwood; and his grandchildren, Carter Barbrey, Kacie Isbell and John Bradley. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Northwest Chapel (6710 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
