It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Cox (Greenville, South Carolina), who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kay Cox to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Kay farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kay is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Brown and Mae Smith Brown; and her sisters, Lucille Jones and Shirley Hall. She is survived by: her husband Larry Cox; her daughter Lynn Williams (Stacy); her grandchildren, Cade Williams (Megan) and Camden Williams; her great grandchild Saylor Williams; and her sister Betty Goodwin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Home (1604 NE Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681).
