She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Peter Burum Wright and Julie Bredenberg Wright; her husband Charles Moore Weeks; and her brother Peter Burum Wright, Jr. (Elizabeth). She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Abel (Daniel), Julie Frye (Richard), Emily Acuff, Sarah Bates (Dennis) and Lucy Jump; her grandchildren, Dolan Frye (Lauren), Willliam Frye (Celia), Juliana Abel, Louis Abel, Andrew Acuff (Stephanie), Henry Acuff, Jeffre Youngblood (Thomas), John Youngblood, Kyle Bates (Andrea) and Amanda Woolwine (Jared); her great grandchildren, Charlie, Jack, Georgia, Lily and Hazel; and her godchildren, Julie Cornwell Gregorie and John Jay Bredenberg, III.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to ELCA World Hunger at Trinity Lutheran Church.

“I have been thinking about all of you for the past week. I just wanted you daughters to know how much your mother meant to our family and how special she was to us. We moved to NC in 1996 and got to know Juliana. She immediately made us part of the Bredenberg "family". She was wonderful to John, to me, and to our children. We were so blessed by her and will carry those memories with us. My love and sympathy to you all. "Sweet" Helen Bredenberg”
