She was predeceased by: her husband James Allen Edwards Sr.; her parents, Ernest Boyd Winfrey and Annie Ednis Chester; her spouse Georgia; her son James Allen Edwards Jr.; and her siblings, Marcielene Marshall, James Thomas Winfrey, Calvin Winfrey, Jerome Winfrey and Douglas Winfrey.
She is survived by: her sister Sue Richie; her children, Patty Burgess (Gary) and Scott Edwards (Ashley); her grandchildren, Melissa Henry (Josh), Sarah Sandifer (Michael), Hannah Winker (Greg), Joshua Burgess (Ashleigh), Hailey Edwards, Ryley Edwards and James Wilson Edwards; and her great grandchildren, James Bowen Henry, Lorelei Henry, Ashlyn Winker, Aiden Winker, Audrey Sandifer and Aaron Sandifer.
