It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Middleton Wilcox (Greenville, South Carolina), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benjamin Middleton and Evelyn Middleton; her half-brothers, John Robert Middleton and Benjamin Franklin Middleton Jr.; her husband Christopher J. Wilcox; her daughters, Lauren M. Nettles of Anderson, SC and Vicki D. Wilcox of Savannah, GA; her granddaughter Shayla B. Butler of Savannah, GA; her stepgrandsons, Shawn Orvis and Alex Nettles; her nephews, Shane Middleton and Shawn Middleton; and her cousins, Janet L. Benson and Robert Clark.
Joyce has served on the Missions Committee, including two mission trips to the American Indian Christian Mission in Arizona and participating in an Emergency Food Bank during COVID.
