He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Balsa and Maria Balsa; and his siblings, Manolo Balsa, Lucia Menendez and Marta Balsa.
He is survived by: his wife Els Balsa; his children, Michelle Balsa Frasher (Joe) and Marc Jorge Balsa (Carlie); his grandchildren, Leigh Frasher Miller (Walker), Robert Andrew Frasher, Alexa Marie Risser and Brianna Leigh Risser; and his great grandchildren, Lillian Martha Miller and Robert Walker Miller.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cancer Society of Greenville, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605.
