He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Boyette, Sr. and Eva "Chris" Christopher Boyette; and his sister Kay Boyette Willingham (Ken). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mencken Boyette; his daughters, Ashley Frederick (Scott) of Greenville, SC and Angie Sykes (James) of Abbeville, SC.; and his grandchildren, Jason Frederick, Anna Frederick Gooding (Sam), Grace Frederick, Wilson Sykes and Linsey Sykes.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601). Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to Hospice House of Greenville located at 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
