It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Vaughn Jr. of Greenville, South Carolina, born in Irvine, Kentucky, who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Larry (Frances); his parents, John Lewis, Sr. and Mary Vaughn; and his siblings, Marthalyn McFarling, Margaret Hann and William Vaughn.

He is survived by: his son Tommy (Sue); his wife Shirley R. Vaughn; his daughter Nancy Eckhoff (David); his grandsons, Will Eckhoff (Monica), John "Jack" Vaughn (Neely) and Joshua Vaughn (Andrea); and his great grandchildren, Glesni, Jasper, Jacob and Emily.
