It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Grover Terrell of Greenville, South Carolina, born in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though John Grover may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Grover touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Connie Mathis Terrell; his parents, Willie "Nathaniel" Terrell and Gladys McKinney Terrell; his children, Tashara Robinson of Piedmont, SC, Vashta St. Amour (Elenson) of Mauldin, SC and Victor Terrell (Grace) of Atlanta, GA; the mother of his children Vicky Terrell; his children, Jessica Mathis of Mauldin, SC and Jeffrey Mathis (Kristie) of Thomasville, GA; and his sister Dolly O'Neal of Travelers, SC.
