He was predeceased by: his wife Heidi Holtzman Harmon; and his parents, John Calvin Harmon, Sr. and Lois Childress Harmon. He is survived by: his sister Susan Harmon Austin; his children, John C. Harmon III (Carolina Ramirez Velasquez), Eric Harmon (Michelle Harmon), Amy Harmon Glander (John G. P. Glander), Jennie Harmon Martin (John Wesley Martin) and Ashley Harmon Berryhill (Thomas Berryhill); his grandchildren, Caitlin Eunpu (Jonathan Eunpu), Devin, Kaleb, Eli Aurand, Ian, Jacob, Nathan and Hannah Glander; and his great grandchild Liam Eunpu.
