He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Beano Campbell and Jewel Sanders Campbell; his brothers, Ellis, Ansel and Dallas; and his former wife Rose Campbell Hammond.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Powell (Lee) and Les Campbell; his grandchildren, Austin Powell (Savannah), Connor Campbell (Kerri) and Ashlynn Powell; and his great grandchildren, Carson and Noah Campbell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
