He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Burgess Johnson (Clyde); his grandsons, Jeffrey Mark Burgess (Abriya) and Jason Matthew Burgess; his great grandchild Benjamin Maveryck Burgess; his siblings, Sarah Patterson of Woodruff and John Earl Burgess (Margie) of North Augusta, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Seth Harris, Charles West, Wilbur West and Brenda Settle.
