He is survived by: his children, Michael McAlister, April Walters (John Anglin) and Karen McAlister (Robert Swann); his grandchildren, Tara McAlister (Christopher Jackson), Renee Dickerson (Johnny), Morgan Walters, Jason Walters, Carlee Jackson and Braiden Jackson; his great grandchildren, Nate Dickerson and JT Dickerson; and his brothers-in-law, Dean Raines (Lois Bryant) and Bill Raines.
