James R. Sanders Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Sanders Jr. (Greenville, South Carolina), born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on May 25, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Sanders and Marie Hartley Sanders; and his former wife Sally F. Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Deen Day Sanders; and his children, James E. Sanders (Terry), Sally L. Jones (Mike), Linda O'Brien (Frank) and Jeanie Gilmer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
