He was predeceased by: his parents, James Scott and Beulah Scott; and his sisters, Edith Jones, Clara Bell and Aileen Pennington.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Simpson Scott; his children, David Frederic Scott (Sherri), Alan Wilson Scott (Ellen) and Laura Scott Griffin; and his grandchildren, Hunter Lane Griffin, John Marshall Scott, James Collier Scott, Spencer Land Scott, William Carlisle Scott and Alexander Lane Scott.
