She was predeceased by: her parents, Dirk Ockhuisen and Catherine Tol Ockhuisen; her husband John A. De Jong; and her daughter Monica De Jong Valipour. She is survived by: her children, Charlene (Charli) of Jong, Catherine De Jong Gentry, Harry De Jong and Johan C. De Jong; and her grandchildren, Gabriela, Sam, Johan, Ashley and Nicholas. She is also survived by her great- grandchildren.
