She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Taft Meachum and Mildred Covington Meachum; and her brother Joseph Ernest Meachum. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Cannon Blumhagen (Gregory) of Adel, IA and Arthur Dickson Cannon III (Sharon Coley) of Hiawassee, GA; her grandchildren, Arthur Dickson Cannon IV of Charleston, SC, Charlotte Gray Daganhardt (Logan) of Dallas, TX, Rebecca Bea Blumhagen Chastain (Zachary) of Binghamton, NY and Andrew William Blumhagen of Berlin, Germany; her great grandchildren, Eliana Ivy Covington Chastain and Frances Phyllis Chastain; her sister-in-law Annette Meachum; her niece Lauren Gary (Bert) of Augusta, GA; and her nephew Jemie Meachum of Columbia, SC.. She is also survived by family and friends and pets.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cannon Byrd Funeral Home (1150 N Main St, Fountain Inn, SC 29644). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
