He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lawson Kay; his children, Shane Kay (Travis), Brandi Costello (Kristin) and Hunter Kay (Rachel); his grandchildren, Teagan Costello, Ryleigh Costello and Kaelyn Costello; and his siblings, Gene Kay (Janice), Jerry Kay (Donna) and Wanda Lee.
