She was predeceased by: her parents, Coan West and Blanche Sloan West; her husband Herman L. Gibbs; her children, Brenda G. Bright and Thomas "Ricky" Gibbs; and her siblings, Ansel West, Roy West, Garvin West, Carroll West, Lillian Loftis and Dot Minor.
She is survived by: her son Herman L. Gibbs, Jr. of Simpsonville; her grandchildren, Renae Phillips (Leon), Jesse McDonald and Brittany Patterson (Andrew); and her great grandchildren, Haley, Jaden, Dallas and Dakota.
