She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Gaines; and her parents, Thomas V. Sherman and Thelma Latimer Sherman. She is survived by: her son Lerion R. "Nick" Gaines (Terressa "Toney") of Inman, SC; and her sister Freddie B. Pendergrass of Greenville, SC.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church (505 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29605). A burial was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church (704 S Fairfield Rd, Greenville, SC 29605).
