He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jane Dyer (Cox); his children, Judy Dyer (Tyler Johnson) of Mauldin, Sigurjon "Jonni" Dyer (Jodie) of Greenville, Gerald C. Dyer (Patti Daniels) of Marietta and Olafur Dyer of Iceland; and his sisters, Annetta Martin of Lexington, KY and Carol Peach of Lexington, KY. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
