It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Hawkins (Greenville, South Carolina), born in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, who passed away on February 7, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Young and Annie Mae Ferguson Hawkins; and his brother Hubert Hawkins. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Daniel Hawkins (Brenda) of Travelers Rest, Janice Hawkins (John Henry) of Greenville and Angie Hawkins Hickey (Dewayne) of Pickens; and his siblings, Zonnie Mae Poole and Delmar Hawkins. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
