With solemn reverence, we commemorate Gena Holcombe of Greenville, South Carolina, whose life came to an end on March 18, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, T. C. Forest and Myrtle Forest of Greenville, SC.; her spouse Jerry Holcombe; her siblings, Clyde Forest, Doris Moore and Marguerite Hindman; her daughter-in-law Cheree Holcombe; and her parents-in-law, C. D. and Geddis "Pete" Holcombe.
She is survived by: her sons, Van Holcombe (Debbie), Mark Holcombe (Karen) and Brian Holcombe; her granddaughters, Caroline and Madelyn; her sister Linda Williams (Jess); and her nephew Thom Moore (Jo). She is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, and close family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
