It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gayle Diane Farris in Greenville, South Carolina, born in Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Hall and Donna Hall; her siblings, Margie Singmaster, Larry Hall and Glen Hall; and her husband James Farris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rachelle Knotts (Morgan), Niki Wielgus (Paul) and Ashley Thornton; and her grandchildren, Mikaela, Rylee, Liam, Jordan, Abbigail, Ethan, Jaxton and Emma.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home (15 W Wall St, Fort Scott, KS 66701). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (914 215th St, Fort Scott, KS 66701).
