He is survived by: his wife Jennie Thompson Ray of Greenville; his son Michael Ray (Robin) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Jacob, Audrey, Evan and Alex; his son Andrew Ray (Emily) of Anderson; his grandchildren, Wallace and Sadie; and his brother Jimmy Ray (Virginia).
