He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Burgess and Hazel Burgess; and his brother Kenny G. Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Paula W. Burgess; his children, Heather Burgess, Joseph Burgess (Jennifer), Jenny Burgess (William Westley), Joshua Burgess and Megan Streetman (Josh); and his grandchildren, Stephen, Rebecca, Mary-Maginn, Henry, Amelie, David and Ada.
