He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roscoe Gatewood, Jr. and Lois Pace Gatewood; his wife Earline Graffreaid Gatewood; his son Furman Gatewood, Jr. (Kristy) of Savannah, GA; and his siblings, Vera Wynn, Jr. (Marshall), William R. Gatewood of Mauldin, SC, Roscoe Gatewood, Jr. (Teresa) of Simpsonville, SC and Glenn L. Ross of Piedmont, SC. He was also cherished by three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
