He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Carpenter and Martha Carpenter; and his brother Rick Carpenter, Jr. (Linda). He is survived by: his sons, Tom and Neal Carpenter; his daughters-in-law, Leah Carpenter (Tom) and Katherine Carpenter (Neal); his grandchildren, Ellie, Ansley, Addis and Zuri; his siblings, Martha Shaleuly (Jerry) and Bill Carpenter (Terri); and his sister-in-law Linda Carpenter. He is also survived by his family and friends.
