With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Keenan Knight (Greenville, South Carolina), born in Greer, South Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace Knight; her parents, Ira Henry and Polly Keenan; and her brothers, Ira, Alvin, Jimmy, Ted, Henry and J. D. Keenan.

She is survived by: her daughter Sylvia Rene Hendrix (James); her stepgranddaughters, Amber Hendrix and Carrie Norwood (Corbett); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Rita and Wade.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brushy Creek Baptist Church, 4999 Old Spartanburg Road, Taylors, SC 29687.
