It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Ellenburg Vaughan of Greenville, South Carolina, born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Harmon Vaughan of Greenville; her parents, Waddy Ellenburg and Lena Ellenburg; her son Thomas Lee Vaughan; her sons-in-law, Lee Curd, Arnold and Link; and her siblings, Clyde, Wyatt, Albert, Clifton, Lavoy, Eugene, Maurice Ellenburg, Alive McClain, Eleanor Lawson and Peggy Autrey.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Vaughan (Carole), Yvonne Curd, Doris Sanders, Myron Vaughan (Tracy) and Julie Vaughan; her siblings-in-law, Zelda Ellenberg and J. W. Autrey; and her great grandchildren, Sheridan and Leilani. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and great – great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
