With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Barringer Topping Crawford (Greenville, South Carolina), born in Pantego, North Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2023 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Dewey and Dorothy Warren Wahab Topping; her sister Jane Topping Lindsley; and her brother-in-law Hugh. She is survived by: her husband Bobby; her daughter Caroline Barringer Crawford Riddle; her son-in-law Samuel Edward Riddle, Jr.; her granddaughter Anna Scott Riddle Swent; her grandchild-in-law Radford; her grandchildren, Crawford, Hudson and Gracie Riddle; her nieces, Kathryn Lindsley Streiff (Ken) and Carolyn Crawford Byrd (Billy); and her nephew Harrell Crawford (Kathy).
In honor of her memory, memorials may be made to support St. James Episcopal Church, 545 E Main Street, Belhaven, NC 27810, a place which Evelyn held dear to her heart.
