It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel W. Gilliland (Greenville, South Carolina), who passed away on December 3, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. John Gilliland; her parents, William Best and Josie Randall Best; her husband Church of God; her daughter Nancy Storey (Forrest); her grandchildren, Angela Gilliland, Larry Dean Gilliland, Jr., Robert Andrew Gilliland, Johnny Lee Storey, Glenn Terry Waters, Jr. and Andrew Dove; and her siblings, Robert Best, Albert Best, Grace Farmer and Mary Underwood.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Sue Satterfield (Thomas), Danny Gilliland (Cynthia), Larry Gilliland (Cheryl), Patty Jones (Michael) and Robert Gilliland (Sandra). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
