With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emmaline Pruitt Pearson of Greenville, South Carolina, born in Mount Airy, Georgia, who passed away on April 23, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Pearson; her parents, Emory Pruitt and Ruby Blair Pruitt; and her siblings, Claude Pruitt, Thomas Pruitt, Lurline Finley, Linda McHugh and Kathryn Whiten.

She is survived by: her sister Mary Collins. She is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews.
