She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lawrence Walters and Annie Pearl Hicks Walters; and her siblings, Luther Woodell, Edward Lee Walters, Maryann Driggers, Eva Hardy and Pearly Hardy.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy D. McGaha; her children, Junior Maness (Sheryl) of Laurens, Marie Brown (Scott) of Gray Court and Pam Collins (Brandy) of Williamston; her sister Aretha Locklear of Wagram, NC; and her grandchildren, Christopher "Buck" McGaha, Lisa Davis, Stephanie Maness, Kyle Brown, Meghan Michels, Kirsten Maness, Cierra Wagner and Brittany Collins. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
