Emily left this world on September 7, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Kearse Jenkins and Otis Jenkins Sr.; her sons, Ronald Hawkins (Ronnie) and Gregory Hawkins (Greg); her siblings, Rosa Lee Mayrant, Mary Lou Hawkins, Otis Jenkins, Jr. and Anna Mae Jenkins (Pat); her granddaughter Cherise Hines; and her great grandchild Jaquan Hines.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Hawkins (Lewis) and Adrianne Davis; her grandchildren, Karheem Hawkins, Nyasia Pritchard, Tanya Hawkins, Sheidera Pritchard and Erika Agnew; her great grandchildren, Jazmeene, JaLyssa, Koran, Jacenia, Kamar, Khaleah, Terrell and Faith; her cousin Carol Funches-Legemah; and her nephews, Stanley Jenkins (Divine), Eric McGuire and Mark Jenkins. She is also survived by 9 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Emily worked for the Social Security Administration for several decades and at the Greenville Tech Foundation until her retirement.
